en-thuse has been set-up and is run by business people for Christians in the Marketplace. Our vision is to change the world of business by journeying with Christians in discovering their en-thuse (God Inspired Passion) and resourcing you through the web, social networking and our annual conference to understand the great call of God to the Marketplace.
Our Values & Beliefs
Be Astounding.
A few years ago, the buzz word was “excellence” – everything had to be “excellent”. The trouble was – that was very hard to define, and has become very overused in business. We don’t want to be excellent. We want to be astounding. That has much more punch.
This is one of guiding values and a question was ask ourselves often: will this be astounding?

And that’s what we want. We don’t want to offer you the usual Christian conference in the usual way – or give the same “there is no I in team” talk and blog post. We want to do something different. Something that is surprisingly impressive. We want what we do to be notable by all who get involved and create a buzz.
We want to do this because we want to journey with you, not give you a quick blast every now and then.
Be real and practical
Theology is great. The Word of God is great. We love it. It is the foundation for all that we do. We love the fact that it is still real, relevant and practical. That is what we want to offer too – something that is real, relevant and practical – things that you can use, that make a difference, that help you in the real world, Monday to Friday.
We don’t want to become so heavenly minded that we become no earthly good.
Make a difference
We are not here to teach a theology. We are not here to preach intellectual information that has no practical application. We tell our stories. We share our experience. We investigate principles from God’s word for one simple reason: we want to make a difference. We don’t want to fill your head with noise (there are more than enough people out there who can do a much better job at that). We just want to journey with you so we can learn from each other and make a real difference to our own lives and businesses and also the world into which we have been sent.
See faith in action
Our “founding Scripture” is Matthew 5:13-16
You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
We are the light of the world. We have something to offer this world that comes from God and those around us need to see it. In other words, God has something to show this world through you. And that is where faith comes in and makes things exciting – because God usually has something for us that is bigger than we are – so faith will stretch us.
When faith is in action – the world will take note and see some amazing things, and God gets the glory.
Inspire Vision
We believe that we can change the world. But many people don’t, in fact it is hard for people to see beyond the gritty hear and now. We want to inspire vision in people – to help them see God’s dream of the future and their part in it. We change our tomorrow by what we do today so it always helps to know where you want tomorrow to be.
Build people
This is our base line. We want to build people, specifically people in the marketplace. We are not a denomination. We are not a movement. We are simply here to journey with Christians, in the unity of the faith, to build people.
If we build people – business will grow.
